Page Builder Apps

Many merchants work with page builder apps like PageFly, Replo, and GemPages to unlock more customization of their online store. Shoplift supports page builder templates out-of-the-box, and you can test any third-party template as long as they are available in your live theme.

Conversion tracking also works out-of-the-box: if the page builder app adds a suffixed theme.liquid file (like theme.shogun.liquid) to your theme, then Shoplift will automatically add the tracking snippet to this file if it is not detected.

Supported apps

Supported: By default, Shoplift supports any page builder app which leverages theme templates to provide storefront experiences. You can select these pages as "original" or "variant" templates.

Partially Supported: Some page builder apps have URL dependencies that limit the template content to rendering only on the URL it was created for. While you can select these pages as "original" templates for testing, you cannot select them as "variants," because their content will not render on the URL of your "original" template.

Testing pages from page builder apps

You can select a page as your original or variant template by opening the template library, navigating to the Pages tab, and clicking on the page's template.

FAQ: Why is my page missing from my template library?

For a page to be in Shoplift's template library, it must be saved as a template. Depending on the page builder app you use, this might require publishing your page, making it live on your site, or assigning it to a product.

FAQ: Why are Duplicate and Create with Lift Assist™ disabled?

If the page builder creates liquid (OS1) templates, then Shoplift's template duplication feature and Lift Assist™ might be disabled because these templates cannot be edited in the Shopify editor. See Theme Compatibility for more details.

Testing sections from section builder apps

Testing sections from section builder apps can be done easily through the Shopify Theme Editor. In Shoplift, select your original and variant templates, and click Edit in Shopify to open the Shopify Theme Editor and make your desired changes.

If you ever need help conducting tests with Shoplift, our support team is always available to assist. Reach out from within the app using the live chat widget in the bottom right of the screen, or email help@shoplift.ai to get in touch.
