# Managing User Notifications

## Adding additional users to receive notifications within Shoplift

If you'd like to add team members to receive test notifications by email or SMS, from within Shoplift, go to **Settings > My Account.** Click **Edit profile settings.**

Beneath your primary contact, you'll see an **Add contact** button. Click the **Add contact** button to add a new staff contact, and fill in their information. Once you've finished, click **Save changes**.

Then go to **Notifications** within the settings page. Your newly added contact will be displayed, and you can adjust their email or SMS notification preferences by clicking the toggles for **Product updates, Test updates,** and **Plan alerts.**

By default, new contacts will inherit the notification settings from the primary contact for the account.
